The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) has concluded its investigation into the use of force by a Calgary Police Service officer.
The executive director reviewed the evidence and issued a written report setting out the findings and conclusions.

ASIRT investigated the use of force during a mental health call involving a 12-year-old boy.
ASIRT is part of the Police Review Commission, an independent civilian-led agency. ASIRT investigates potential criminal offences involving police across Alberta, including cases where the actions of a police officer may have resulted in serious injury or death.
